Fifty Shades Of Neutral

I'm not sure exactly when it happened or where it originated, but I'm so glad that sneakers-as-real-shoes is a thing. For me, it ranks right up there with embellished sweatshirts as a sweet, comfy gift for moms from the fashion universe.

And besides the comfort + practicality factors (which are big), I LOVE the fact that there's a sneaker style for every personal style. Whether you're a glam girl, a little preppy, or even a bit boho there's a sneaker for you.

I swear by my white Supergas that I picked up at Target a couple years back when they did their collaboration. (The original version will run you about $65 and I snagged them on sale at Target for about $20.) They're a versatile style, comfy, and - yes - easy to keep looking like new!

That collaboration may be over, but there's no shortage of options when it comes to cute, casual sneaks at Target. Even if you're just in the market for a new pair of classic white lace-ups, you've got plenty of (under $25) choices. I'll be stalking the pair with the navy heel pull until they're back in stock!

If an all-white option is just too, well, classic for you, there are tons of other great neutral options that will work so well with any spring wardrobe. Again, this is just a small sample of the choices, but there's something for everyone - super casual, trendy and modern, sleek and sporty, even fun and feminine.

Here are a few more ways that I've worn my sneakers if you need to see them "in action."

Not shown here, but dearly loved are the "silver" Mad Love slip-ons shown above with the neutral options. I've had them for several years and they've held up better than my TOMS. I highly recommend them for all your backyard playing, summertime travel, and daily errand-running needs!

Of course, because these options are all available at Target you need to keep an eye out for Cartwheel offers that include shoes! If you can't or don't want to wait, you can still snag some extra savings with a REDcard. I have the debit version so there's no impact on my credit - it's just like using cash, but with a 5% discount and free shipping! If you don't already have one, check it out here.

What's your sneaker style - classic white, sleek and sporty, or bold color combos? It's okay if you say "all of the above"!
